orange trees in spring. contemporary art. there is no electricity in the cabin. the green feather is upside down. leaps taken. echo blake. sight & perceptual. the grapefruit awaits to be eaten. falls. fights. the wardrobe as collection does not exist. the wardrobe as door. labyrinths & hybrids. birds. real. unreal. imagination. memory. dreams. a wall of post its. a wall of rejected poems. cancel the doctor’s appointment. feed the turtle. watch the sunflowers die & drown. hang the towels on the line. arrange the twigs in the mandala. why cannot i remember the important years of deaths. the travels are necessary. the psychology of a hat. i decide not to go to the island alone. order books about other people’s lives. miro & sert. gaudi & dali, o’keeffe & wright. examine scraps of paper. invent imaginary worlds. the woods are the words & paintings. the convergence of sound necessary. in a space of windmills or a river. assemble the books. clean the house. the feather is the atelier is the island is the quiet within snow.
